Catalog Update!

We apologize for the delay but they're finally here! We mailed them out to those on our mailing list in mid-February. We appreciate your patience! In the meantime, the new woodland perennials, ferns, and woody plants are all listed on the website so be sure to check out some of the last minute additions.

Winter Shipping

While the fall shipping season has ended, we may still be able to ship cold hardy items including Arisaema, Aspidistra, and Rhapis palms during the winter months. We are shipping plants in February on a limited basis as tempertures and snowstorms allow. However, we are located in Pennsylvania and may need to delay shipment if temperatures are too cold or it's snowing AGAIN in the mid-Atlantic region. With variable temperatures and weather conditions, it is best to select shipment via FedEx 2nd Day. Please understand that we may not be able to ship your order immediately. We will begin shipping dormant Caladium corms in March once we can safely receive them from our supplier. The main spring shipping season also begins in March. We try to email you within 3 business days with estimated shipping dates.

New plants arriving at Asiatica!

In addition to the Aucubas & Farfugiums featured below, be sure to check out the new ferns that we've listed. We plan to list even more ferns as well as other new plants over the next month as they arrive from Asia so be sure to check back often. We've also listed new palms and woody plants. Supplies are limited so order early!

New Farfugiums & Aucubas at Asiatica!

Be sure to check out the new Aucubas (click here) and Farfugiums (click here) we've just added! We continue to expand our listing of NEW WOODY PLANTS with several new offerings; to check them out click here. We also plan to add several NEW TROPICAL PLANTS including several Philodendron as well as Pyrrosia ferns so if you garden in mild winter areas or wish to add the latest indoor and tropical plants to your home, click here over the next few weeks to see what we've added. And if you just can't get enough NEW HOYAS, click here.

Arisaemas have arrived and are ready for shipment!

We've received most of the Arisaemas and have started shipping them. We may also be able to ship many as unpotted tubers through mid March. Arisaemas that are shipped as dormant tubers can be planted as long as the ground is not frozen or stored in a refrigerator for early spring planting. To start shopping, click here.

Never grown Arisaemas or not sure when to plant or how to store tubers? Click here for more information. For a list of easily grown Arisaemas, click here.

Logging in

Our new website went live September of 2007 and login passwords were reset. Returning customers may log in using the email address of their old account as the email address AND password. Once you have logged in, you will have the option to reset your password. For more information about this, click here. If your email address has changed, you may either set up a new account, or if you have ordered since September 2007 and would like to view your order history under the new email address, please email us anytime and we will change it Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 3:30 PM eastern time.

One is never enough!

The base shipping & handling charge includes the shipment of 2 plants so it makes sense to order more than one! You will also find that as you order more plants, the shipping & handling cost per plant decreases significantly. So maximize your shipping dollar and give your plant a travel buddy! For more information about shipping & handling costs, click here.

Sign up to receive notice of Sales and Open Houses!

While we tried our best to transfer the basic account information of existing Asiatica customers in September of 2007, please be sure to verify your information as you checkout. Occasionally, some information was "lost in translation". Also, please be sure to sign up for our newsletter and email notification of specials and open houses in the upper right corner. We regret that we were unable to transfer current customer's preferences so you will need to sign up again to be notified of any future sales and open houses at Asiatica.

2010 Catalog Information

We sent our Spring 2010 catalog in mid February of 2010. You may also check our website for the most up to date availability as well as new plant listings throughout the year. If you do not receive a catalog by the end of February and have placed an order in the last 3 years, drop us a line and we'll send one your way. Otherwise, you may order your copy here. Please be sure to sign up in the upper right corner to be notified of upcoming open houses, sales, and specials.

Shipping Rates

We receive a discount with FedEx that makes their prices competitive with the recently increased US Priority Mail rates. As a result, the shipping/handling costs are the same for either method of delivery. We plan to ship most orders by FedEx 2nd Day because there is a guaranteed delivery date, the package is insured, and it can be tracked online at www.fedex.com. However, we still offer US Priority Mail as a secondary shipping option for those who simply prefer US Priority Mail shipping or wish to have their order shipped to a PO Box number. However, depending on the plant, your location, and the time of year, we may recommend against shipping via US Priority Mail as risky. In this case, we will suggest Fedex shipping in our second confirmation email. Please note that Fedex requires a signature for packages valued at over $499 while the US Postal Service requires a signature for packages valued at over $200.
