Calathea musaica 'Heiroglyphics' ''

Calathea musaica 'Heiroglyphics'

We found this especially heavily marked form of C. musaica in a nursery in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It looks as if some lunatic ancient Egyptian used the foliage as a copy book. Easy low to moderate light indoor plant; needs good drainage and high humidity. Grown in 3.5 inch square pots. USDA Zones 10-11....

USDA Zones 10-11. 3.5" pot. 1 plant unit....

You bet I have something to say! The plant was received in perfect condition, obviously healthy and well-grown. The cream-yellow variegation in the leaf margins adds so much character to the plant. It even has several peduncles, so perhaps I'll be blessed with blooms in the spring.

I would recommend Asiatica as an excellent source for Hoya lovers. You won't be disappointed in the size.
