Chinese Evergreen

The well-known "Chinese evergreen" is evergreen but mostly not Chinese.

These indoor plants have been valued primarily for their durability. Thanks to the work of plant breeders in Indonesia and Thailand, we now have a range of luscious new colors, such as red, pink, orange, and exciting combinations.

• Use a well-drained soil mix and allow the soil to dry slightly before watering.
• Moderate light is best; the colored-leaved forms are prettiest in strong light but not full sun.
