WHILE WE PLAN TO STOP ACCEPTING ORDERS THE END OF JULY, WE WILL BE SHIPPING ORDERS THROUGH AUGUST AND INTO EARLY SEPTEMBER. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WEST COAST CUSTOMERS WHO ORDER WOODLAND PERENNIALS AND THOSE IN VERY HOT LOCATIONS WILL HAVE THEIR ORDERS SHIPPED IN EARLY SEPTEMBER WHEN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO.
AS LONG AS IT IS NOT TOO HOT IN YOUR AREA OR YOU LIVE ON THE WEST COAST AND HAVE ORDERED WOODLAND PERENNIALS, WE ARE NOW SHIPPING MOST ORDERS IN THE WEEK OR TWO AFTER THEY ARE PLACED. If you need your order shipped right away, please contact us first to see if this is possible. We regret that we can not always ship your order immediately if it is something that has been repotted recently. Excessive heat may also delay shipment. Neither Fedex or US Priority Mail warranty for plants damaged by cold or excessive heat nor do we if you insist on shipment against our advice.
Problems logging In?
If you are a returning customer who has not logged into our website since October of 2007 and are having trouble logging in, use your e-mail address for both the login and your password. If your email address has changed since your last order, you may either set up a new account, or if you have ordered since September 2007 and would like to view your order history under the new email address, please email us anytime and we will change it Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 3:30 PM eastern time.
We were unable to transfer existing passwords to our new site in September of 2007 so all passwords were reset and are the same as your email address. Because it can be difficult to type email addresses when you can't see them, it may help to copy your email address and then paste it in for the login AND the password. Once you have logged in for the first time on our new website, you will be able to change your password to one of your choosing.
West Coast Shipments:
We ship most of our rare and unusual plants in their pots with soil. However, plants shipped to California, Oregon, and Washington must be shipped without soil to comply with those states' regulations. As a result, we may delay shipment of some plants to these states if barerooting would be particularly stressful to the plant at that time. If you have any questions about this, please drop us an email at asiatica@nni.com.
OREGON CUSTOMERS, we are now required to fax a copy of your order with contact information to the Oregon Department of Agriculture when we ship your plants. They MAY contact you to arrange to inspect your shipment.
Delivery signature requirements:
Please note that Fedex requires a signature for packages valued at over $499 while the US Postal Service requires a signature for packages valued at over $200. Fedex may also require signatures for deliveries to multi-unit buildings such as apartment buildings and commercial establishments.

The plants we ship are usually NOT the same plant shown in the photographs. Like most other mail order nurseries, we often show plants growing in the garden or as more mature specimens. To help you determine the size of the plant that is shipped, we try to include the pot size in the plant's description. If you have further questions, please contact us.
We automatically send order acknowledgments via email as well as later emails regarding shipping dates and tracking numbers. If you do not receive these emails, please check your junk or spam folders. Occasionally our emails end up in these folders.
