Taiwanese species with flowers similar to the Japanese Asarum asaroides, and round-oval leaves, blue/black-green above with faint silvery patterns, maroon beneath, on a running rootstock. This is a rare and distinctive evergreen asarum that is seldom seen in cultivation. USDA Zones 7-9.
