For both foliage and flowers, this is one of the most beautiful of the tropical gingers. The dark green leaves have thin white lines along the veins. The spikes of pink flowers are showy and long-lasting. Grows to about three feet tall and wide. This is an excellent "indoor-outdoor" plant for use in the house during the cold season, then outdoors for summer. It is an easy indoor plant for moderate to bright light. It likes rich soil and even moisture, let it dry between watering in the winter. USDA Zones 9-11.
