This medium size Thai variety (5-6") has oval deep red/purple leaves that are exceptionally thick and glossy. This is a new and unusual combination of color and leaf substance. It has become one of my favorite varieties. Plant in spring when the soil is warm; bring in bulbs in fall and store warm and dry. Please note that these new varieties do not make bulbs as large as standard commercial varieties. These are dormant bulbs shipped until April 15. After April 15, potted plants will be available. USDA Zone 9-11.
