One of the breakthroughs seen in the new Thai caladiums is a variety of new colors; of these, more intense, saturated red shades stand out. This variety has deep red to raspberry red leaves, glossy, more spreading than upright. It is a new introduction exclusive to Asiatica. Plant in spring when the soil is warm; bring in bulbs in fall and store warm and dry. Please note that these new varieties do not make bulbs as large as standard commercial varieties. These are dormant bulbs shipped until April 15. After April 15, potted plants will be available. USDA Zone 9-11.
