Distinctive perennial from central Japan, blooming in early autumn, with clear blue helmet-shaped flowers. Valuable for its ease of cultivation and its relatively rigid stems to 3' that do not flop when the plant is in bloom. Average woodland soil with morning sun or light shade. Blooming size plants. USDA Zones 4-8.
Grown in 2.5" pots.
