This very rare variant has all the beauty of leaf and flower of the purple-flowered species, but with pure white flowers. These were all checked in bloom so the color is right. Here it is just as vigorous as the pink/purple-flowered form. It requires humus-rich, well-drained soil in light to moderate shade. Easier in cool-summer climates. Blooming size plants. USDA Zones 4-7 (9 cool west coast.
