This is a vigorous, tall-growing old Japanese cultivar with large, broad leaves with a yellow center stripe. Young plants sometimes have additional stripes but will settle down with age to a single center stripe. The name means "daybreak" in Japanese. USDA Zones 7b-10. WOW, i was surpised when i recived this one, it was HUGE! i had to get another pot because i thought it was gonna be small, but it looks full grown. I really love it, it does have nice big long leaves!
