Elegant, very rare Japanese species found in mountains from northern Hokkaido to Kyushu. Leaves are about 5" long; the 10" spike bears 4 or 5 yellow and green flowers in early summer. Great rock garden or trough plant. USDA Zones 6-9.

Grown in 3.5" pots.
