Dendrobium moniliforme is a small epiphytic orchid native to E. Asia, growing on rocks and tree branches. This is a Japanese variegated selection with narrow leaves, edged yellow, about 6" tall.Grow in moss, orchid bark or wired to a slab of bark or rock. Keep dry and cool in winter to set flower buds; water and fertilize regularly in the summer. USDA Zones 8a-10.
