Neofinetias are epiphytic orchids from East Asia that grow on tree branches. The pretty flowers in summer are white and long-spurred. They need good air circulation and prefer cool temperatures in winter. Grow in sphagnum or bark, or wired to a slab; water when dry and feed in the growing season. Keep them cool and dry in the winter. When dry they can take temperatures down to almost freezing without damage. The Japanese have been growing selections of these orchids for hundreds of years. They are still very popular and very expensive. This is a very old and popular cultivar with cream to white margined leaves. USDA Zones 9-10
