Amazing trillium relative (sometimes called Kinugasa japonica) from Japan that is the diva of the late spring garden. Large, showy, white to cream flowers are displayed above a whorl of bold foliage. Mature plants can be nearly 3' tall. Challenging to grow; requires rich, moist, well-drained soil in cool shade. Rhizomes can remain dormant for a year or more after transplanting; that is the downside of the diva thing. USDA Zones 4-7 east coast, 4-8 on west coast.
Grown in 2.5" pots.
