In recent years, Thai nurserymen have been developing strange and wonderful mutations of Euphorbia lactea, a durable, easily grown South Asian species. These mutations are both crested and variegated in various ways. They begin as grafted plants with fan-like tops and gradually become convoluted and brain-like in conformation. All of them like bright light, warmth, a gritty well-drained soil, and they must dry out between waterings. They are easy and fascinating house plants. This variety is a convoluted crest with a green background and yellow streaking and marbling. These are 5 to 6" wide crests. USDA Zones 10-11.
Grown in 3.5" pots.
