Pyrrsoia lingua is a common rock-dwelling fern from NE Asia, with tongue-shaped fronds. This Japanese selection has fronds that are divided into two or more lobes, then frilled and crested. Name means "two leaf lion". It can be grown in open potting media, orchid mix, or on a slab. Keep dry in winter; water and fertilize in summer. New and rare. USDA Zones 7b-10.
