In Japan these orchids have been grown as ornamental pot plants for hundreds of years.
Grow Cymbidiums in a coarse, well-drained mix and allow them to dry completely before watering. Water and fertilize routinely in the growing season but keep them cool and dry in the winter to stimulate bloom.
