Caladium
The new Thai caladium hybrids are one of the most exciting developments in tropical plant breeding in years. They are bred for new colors and color combinations, and thicker, often highly glossy foliage. The culture of Thai caladiums is similar to the culture of other caladium but they are a little slower to develop and the corms are often smaller.
Plant dormant corms in spring when the soil is warm; bring in bulbs in fall and store warm and dry. Please note that these new varieties do not make bulbs as large as standard commercial varieties.
Dormant bulbs will be shipped through late-April 2009. The base shipping/handling charge includes the shipment of up to 8 different unpotted corms in quantities of 1, 5 or 10 corms. That's up to 80 tubers! And if your order contains only unpotted caladiums in quantities of 1, 5 or 10 corms, the website will automatically apply a $5.00 reduction from our normal shipping/handling charges.
Potted corms will be available from May through September.
