Very rare perennial in the saxifrage family from the mountains of southern Japan, grown mostly for its attractive foliage. The deeply lobed rounded leaves are about 6-8" wide on plants about 18" tall. The cream;yellow flowers are held above the leaves, but are not very showy. Easy in rich, well-drained soil in shade; not drought tolerant. USDA Zones 5-9.
