Another neglected Japanese woodland perennial for early autumn bloom, with spikes of soft yellow flowers held above matte-green leaves on stems about 2 feet tall. Best in light shade or morning sun. This forms beautiful solid sweeps of pastel color on the lower slopes of Mt. Fuji, where I first saw it, and fell in love. USDA Zones 4-8.
3.5" pot.
