Rabdosia longituba

This is an unaccountably neglected Japanese perennial with many virtues, for fall bloom. Purple flowers are long and tubular, held by the hundreds in airy panicles on stems about 3' tall. One of the most remarkable perennials in the late fall garden. Good for cutting. Morning sun or light shade, good drainage. Also known as Isodon. USDA Zones 6-8.

3.5" pot.
